SOME OF OUR CHILDREN
José Roberto
José Roberto, 14 years old, has been with us for five years. He stands out for his intelligence, particularly in language and mathematics, but faces challenges associated with autism, including episodes of anxiety. His greatest support is his mother, who works in domestic services. Thanks to the constant support from the Foundation and his mother’s tireless dedication, José Roberto now attends a regular school and has shown significant improvement through therapy.
Fiorella Yhire
Fiorella, 6 years old, lives with her family, including her older brother, who is also autistic. While she does not communicate functionally with words, she has achieved significant progress through alternative communication methods. Her mother, an expert in understanding her needs, has played a crucial role in her development.
Fiorella has faced sensory hypersensitivity, which limited her ability to go out and participate in activities. Thanks to three years of home therapy, she has begun to overcome these challenges. A year ago, she underwent surgery to correct a malformation in her feet and now receives physical therapy at home to maximize the results.
Keysi Moana
Keisi, 6 years old, lives with her parents and her older brother. Although she does not communicate verbally, she has started using an alternative communication system. For the past three years, she has received comprehensive support from Fundación Camina Conmigo, making significant progress. She currently attends school and follows her school routines independently, showcasing her ability to adapt and learn.
